Producer Price Index (PPI)

CHANGE OF PRODUCER PRICE INDEX(PPI) RELEASE DATE

We wish to bring to your notice that, the release day for the Producer Price Index (PPI) has been changed from Fridays to Wednesdays. The change was necessitated by the fact that, after the release on Friday the two proceeding days are weekends, where virtually no discussions on the information released go on.

The target release date of the monthly newsletter for the PPI will now be the last Wednesday on or before the 28th day of the month.
