Dr. Alhassan Iddrisu has assumed duty as the Acting Government Statistician.
He has over 27 years of distinguished experience as Economist with a focus on economic policy, public finance, development planning, climate change financing and economic strategy and research.
Dr. Alhassan Iddrisu has a Master's and a PhD in International Development Studies from Tokyo, an MPhil in Economics and a first degree in Economics and Statistics from University of Ghana.
He has served in key positions at the Ministry of Finance and worked with global institutions including the IMF, World Bank, AU, and ECOWAS.
Dr. Iddrisu is a multiple award-winning public servant, recognised as Best Director in the Civil Service in 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2022.
